Intravenous Infusions Limited PLC is targeting improved revenue and profitability in 2027 as it seeks to strengthen its financial position, sustain production and resume dividend payments to shareholders.
The pharmaceutical manufacturer expects measures introduced in 2026 to address working capital constraints and restore manufacturing operations to translate into stronger financial performance in the coming years.
Managing Director, Mr Moukhtar M. Soalihu, said the company’s improved working capital position would help sustain production, meet customer demand and enhance its operating performance.
He was speaking at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Accra, where he outlined management’s plans to consolidate the operational progress made in 2026 and return the business to a growth trajectory.
Mr Soalihu said the priority was to translate the recovery in manufacturing activities into improved financial results, creating the conditions for the company to restore dividend payments when its financial position strengthened.
He reaffirmed management’s commitment to strengthening the company’s position in Ghana’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and ensuring sustainable business growth.
Board Chairman, Mr Leon Kendon Appenteng, said the company recorded a net loss of GH¢4.63 million in 2025, compared with GH¢640,000 in 2024, while revenue declined by approximately 15 percent.
He attributed the weaker performance to reduced production, working capital constraints and operational difficulties that limited the company’s ability to meet customer demand.
According to him, the constraints affected the company’s manufacturing activities and contributed significantly to the decline in revenue and profitability during the period.
Mr Appenteng said financial investment and support from CCM Healthcare Investments in 2026 had helped the company address its working capital needs, replenish raw materials and resume production across major manufacturing lines.
He added that preliminary management accounts for 2026 indicated improvements in revenue and profitability indicators, supported by increased production output and higher gross profit margins.
The Chairman said management would continue to prioritise operational efficiency, financial discipline and sustainable growth to consolidate the gains and improve shareholder returns when conditions permitted.
He noted that the company would leverage its established brand, manufacturing capabilities and relationships with healthcare professionals to strengthen its competitiveness in the local pharmaceutical market.
Mr Appenteng said the company remained committed to contributing to the domestic supply of essential medical products while building a stronger business capable of delivering improved financial returns over the long term.
