The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), raked in amount of US$2.61 billion in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in 2025.

Chief Executive of the Centre, Mr Simon Madjie, made the announcement, and highlighted investors’ renewed confidence in the country’s economy.

The confidence, he noted, has translated into strong investment activity in 2025, with significant capital directed to the petroleum sector, free zones, and export-oriented industries.

Speaking at the Mövenpick Accra Business Forum on the theme “Building Confidence in Ghana’s Business Climate: Taxation, Forex and Investment Outlook,” Mr Madjie said these investments reflect a certain level of buoyancy in Ghana’s fundamentals, which is driving economic activity, technology transfer, job creation, skills development, and industrial growth.

He said the growing diversity of projects is broadening the country’s productive base, with more capital going into value-adding ventures rather than purely extractive or short-term plays.

To support this momentum, the GIPC, according to him, has streamlined registration processes, reduced turnaround times, and introduced a 24-hour premium service for investors.

Mr Madjie encouraged investors to engage deeply with the Centre, stressing that ongoing dialogue between the public and private sectors is key to Ghana’s next phase of growth, resilience, and shared prosperity.
