Eleven regional ministers salute NPA CEO’s leadership

Regional ministers from eleven regions, have paid a courtesy visit to extend warm felicitations on the birthday of the CEO of National Petroleum Authority (NPA), and to commend him for his steady leadership and the progress made within the downstream petroleum sector.

The NPA Chief, Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo Esq., received the ministers during a hearty engagement.

During the engagement, the ministers highlighted the critical role of the NPA in safeguarding fuel distribution across the regions, and for ensuring that such is done timeously.

Particular attention was given to the collaborative work carried out with Regional Security Councils, where the Ministers, as Chairpersons of REGSEC, continue to support coordinated oversight and stability within the sector.

The NPA Boss reassured the ministers of his steadfast support towards timely fuel distribution across all the regions, and ensuring that it is always done safely.

In his one-year as the CEO of NPA, Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo Esq., is credited with several key leadership innovations, including implementing stricter measures against fuel smuggling and illegal activities, engaging with stakeholders, including the Tanker Owners Union and the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC) to ensure stable operations, and ensuring reliable and affordable fuel for citizens, as well as promoting a 24-hour economy at fuel stations.
